Focus and Scope

Interfaces: Revista de Letras e Linguística publishes papers authored by professors, researchers, graduate, and post-graduate students. Interfaces' editorial policies are focused on the reflexion of knowledge and the publishing of national and international papers involving education, research, and extension. With a preference to those exploring the interfaces between Language and Literature on their most diverse approaches. Special issues may be organized into thematic dossiers.

Peer Review Process

All submissions are initially analyzed by the editor-in-chief to ensure compliance with editorial policies and publishing norms. After that, the priorly selected papers are read by two anonymous reviewers. The authors' identities are not revealed to the reviewers. Ad hoc reviewers may also be called in and, in case of inconsistent judgment, a third anonymous reviewer. The names of ad hoc reviewers, should they be necessary, are listed on the most current issue, with no indication to which articles they read.
