Ações e projetos realizados em resposta à COVID19: um estudo no mercado segurador brasileiro<p> Actions and projects carried out in response to COVID19: a study in the brazilian insurance market

No ambiente de negócios, a pandemia trouxe mudanças como a adoção do home office, novos desafios tecnológicos, de infraestrutura, modelo de trabalho, cultura organizacional e atenção ao nível de dívida das empresas. O setor brasileiro de seguros, que já convivia com o surgimento de insurtechs e o uso de novas tecnologias, teve listadas por uma consultoria de alta gestão (a PwC), 5 prioridades para o pós-pandemia: 1. Foco em custos e produtividade, 2. Impulsão da transformação digital (TD), 3. Criação de novos fluxos de receita, 4. Preparação da força de trabalho para o novo mundo e 5. Reforço da eficiência de capital e marca. O objetivo da pesquisa foi levantar o impacto da COVID19 na adoção de ações para o alcance dessas prioridades, a partir da resposta de 9 seguradoras a um questionário, cujos resultados (analisados por análise de conteúdo, sendo a pesquisa qualitativa e exploratória) sinalizam como principais ações dotadas: (1) Reforço da eficiência do capital e da marca (reforço da marca foi unanimidade), (2) Realinhamento da estrutura de custos e produtividade (produtividade, citada por 8 das 9 respondentes), (3) Impulsionar a TD (mais ações de melhoria incremental do que de TD),(4) Preparar força de trabalho: adaptação para um novo modelo (provavelmente híbrido). Adicionalmente, o trabalho contribui ao sinalizar que ações para criação de novos fluxos de receitas e realinhamento de custos tendem a ser um diferencial na busca por resultados futuros, por não estarem na pauta dos respondentes, dada a baixa previsibilidade do cenário atual.
