Estilos de liderança: um estudo comparativo entre empresas de transportes

O ritmo acelerado das inovações desafia as mais brilhantes estratégias e a sociedade exige cada vez mais das empresas. É neste novo cenário que o papel do líder assume importância, fazendo da liderança um diferencial competitivo no mercado, pois o estilo de liderar reflete sobre o desempenho dos seguidores e também no sucesso da organização. O trabalho demonstrou a importância das diversas formas de liderar, e a influência que um indivíduo exerce sobre outros e seu impacto nas organizações. A pesquisa realizada foi do tipo exploratória, realizada no segundo semestre de 2002, em três empresas de transportes na região Norte do Estado do Paraná, com um levantamento de dados primários (pesquisa de campo) e secundários (revisão da literatura) com uma amostra não probabilística por conveniência representada por 115 respondentes. Através da análise dos resultados podese inferir que a abordagem predominante é a liderança comportamental, onde os lideres visam influenciar os liderados utilizando-se de estratégias de orientação para tarefa e para o funcionário. Num mundo onde as mudanças são constantes e turbulentas, as companhias necessitam líderes promotores de mudanças e da gestão eficaz e eficiente de pessoas visando o equilíbrio entre os objetivos individuais e organizacionais.Downloads

2.
