Desempenho econômico regional sob a ótica da dependência de trajetória<p>Regional economic performance from the perspective of trajectory dependence

Este trabalho faz uma revisão de literatura focando os principais elementos relacionados à teoria da dependência de trajetória, bem como sua possível influência no desempenho econômico regional. Em inúmeras regiões as atividades desenvolvidas estão atreladas à sua vocação econômica-produtiva, as quais, na maioria dos casos, são resultados de uma dependência de trajetória regional. Essa dependência de trajetória pode ter influenciado tanto na formação e constituição dos agentes econômicos como das próprias instituições inseridas naquele cenário, impactando em um desempenho econômico microrregional diferenciado, ou seja, fazendo com que a dinâmica evolutiva regional ocorra de modo positivo, evidenciando que os agentes econômicos foram capazes de evoluir em um contexto de externalidades positivas, ou, negativo, gerando uma configuração que se tornou ineficiente com baixo dinamismo ao longo do tempo.
