O estudo objetiva analisar por meio de consenso as variáveis contingenciais, os estilos de liderança e a folga organizacional predominantes em uma indústria têxtil do Sul do Brasil. A amostra compreende 33 líderes, gerentes, supervisores e afins de uma indústria têxtil com sede no estado de Santa Catarina, sul do Brasil. Os resultados demonstram, quanto as variáveis contingenciais, um consenso de opiniões moderadas sobre Incerteza Ambiental. Com relação aos estilos de liderança, os resultados indicaram consenso moderado para Estrutura/Tarefa, Consideração/Relacionamento e ênfase na produção para a maioria das questões, e forte consenso para o estilo com Precisão Preditiva. Tanto para a folga de recursos, quanto para a folga orçamentária foi possível observar um consenso moderado e em equilíbrio entre os pesquisados. Conclui-se que as variáveis contingenciais Incerteza ambiental e tecnologia, o estilo de liderança Precisão Preditiva e a folga de recursos humanos/pessoal e tempo, bem como a manipulação/participação e a detecção de folga orçamentária são predominantes na indústria têxtil analisada.
