Para que o cidadão possa avaliar um serviço público necessita de ter acesso a informação, não sendo de estranhar que a temática da transparência tenha vindo a ganhar maior expressão. Neste contexto, a partir da análise aos indicadores dos Municípios que têm certificação da qualidade nas Comunidades Intermunicipais Região de Coimbra e Viseu Dão Lafões, pretende-se aferir se os que se encontram certificados possuem melhores resultados em termos de desempenho administrativo e financeiro do que os que não estão certificados. Serão exploradas temáticas conexas, como a transição para a NP EN ISO 9001:2015 e a existência de uma carreira de auditor interno. Em termos de metodologia recorre-se a vários métodos (análise documental e folha de dados por entrevista telefónica), com análise dos resultados através da estatística descritiva. As conclusões apontam para um melhor desempenho dos municípios que se encontram certificados e, em termos de perspetivas futuras poderão ser estudadas outras áreas da administração pública.References
