A ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE PESQUISA EM SECRETARIADO (ABPSEC) À LUZ DA TEORIA DA AÇÃO COLETIVA
Abstract
Os objetivos que nortearam este estudo foram: analisar os incentivos para a formação da ABPSEC à guisa da Teoria da Ação Coletiva e compreender aspectos determinantes e os desafios para o fortalecimento da ação coletiva. Em termos metodológicos, foi uma pesquisa qualitativa, cuja coleta de dados se deu por meio de entrevistas aplicadas a associados da ABPSEC e a análise ocorreu de forma descritiva. Os resultados apontaram que diversos motivos incentivaram a criação da ABPSEC, tais como: a maior preocupação dos pesquisadores com o aumento e com a melhoria da pesquisa em Secretariado Executivo e a discussão do MEC sobre a extinção dos cursos de graduação nessa área. Em relação aos benefícios, foi possível encontrar os de cunho científico, social/psicológico, cultural, político, econômico, além de externalidades positivas. Por fim, os aspectos determinantes considerados positivos para a manutenção da ABPSEC foram: a formalização da associação, a heterogeneidade do grupo, a presença de liderança, o conhecimento dos indivíduos e a reputação. Já os aspectos considerados negativos foram: a presença de racionalidade individual, os free riders, o tamanho do grupo e a falta de comunicação face a face. Ademais, a falta de recursos financeiros também foi citada como dificuldade para a manutenção da ABPSEC.Published
