Frente ao cenário de avanços e retrocessos emergiram, principalmente, ao longo das últimas duas décadas do século XX, fatos econômicos que delinearam e balizaram os rumos da economia internacional contemporânea. Fatos estes, que são responsáveis pelas crises monetárias, financeiras e cambiais que acabaram por revelar um processo comum subjacente à instabilidade econômico-financeira dos países periféricos, chamados emergentes. É neste cenário de instabilidade econômica e de desconfiança mercadológica que o Brasil efetivamente se insere economicamente no contexto internacional, opção esta, que acabou por transformar o cenário produtivo nacional, e em especial do Estado do Paraná, que acabou por gerar um processo de desenvolvimento interno, pautado especialmente nos resultados do fator competitividade, fator este, responsável pelo crescimento, indução e estruturação econômica do Estado. Logo, o objeto de pesquisa deste estudo, tem a pretensão de investigar os impactos decorrentes no modelo de desenvolvimento econômico paranaense, frente ao processo de inserção internacional da economia brasileira. No que diz respeito aos aspectos metodológicos, este se utilizara do ferramental pertencente ao método analítico. Caracterizando-se em um estudo bibliográfico
