Desenvolvimento Regional Sustentável da Região Norte Central do Paraná: O pólo Moveleiro de Arapongas - PR

Abstract

A indústria moveleira é uma atividade importante para o desenvolvimento da região Norte central do Paraná, ocupando um espaço representativo nesta região. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar as condições necessárias para o desenvolvimento da indústria moveleira na região Norte central do Paraná. A pesquisa é um estudo comparativo de casos do tipo descritivo e teve como nível de análise a região Norte central do Paraná, onde foram pesquisadas seis empresas, associações e instituições públicas. Para coleta de dados, foram utilizados entrevistas e questionários objetivando obter os dados primários. A triangulação com observações e pesquisas de dados secundários fez - se necessária para dar mais confiabilidade às informações. A análise dos dados foi realizada de forma qualitativa, com uso de análise de conteúdo, e nos dados quantitativos foi utilizada a estatística descritiva. Os resultados relevantes demonstraram que as empresas pesquisadas na região Norte central do Paraná estão orientadas para baixo custo e baixo preço. Os fatores locacionais classificados como imprescindíveis pelos empresários foram: a quantidade e a qualidade da mão - de - obra, a abundância e acesso aos recursos físicos, os recursos de conhecimento, recursos de capital, a infra - estrutura e as ações institucionais.
