Indicadores sócioambientais da prefeitura municipal de Curitiba

As organizações são cada vez mais exigidas a contribuírem para o desenvolvimento econômico sustentável. Nesse contexto, o Balanço Social surge como um instrumento de gestão e informação que visa destacar de forma transparente as informações econômicas e sociais aos mais diferenciados usuários. Embora o objetivo do setor público esteja alinhado a responsabilidade social, as discussões sobre adoção de Balanço Social nesse setor ainda são incipientes. Nesse sentido, como objetivo mostrar os indicadores sociais da Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba nos anos de 2009 a 2011 com base no modelo do Balanço Social proposto por Frey, Marcuzzo e Oliveira (2008). O Balanço Social foi elaborado por meio das informações extraídas por meio de pesquisa documental em relatórios municipais públicos. Entre os resultados destacam-se que indicadores Sociais Externos em relação à educação apresentou um aumento significativo de 30% de 2009 para 2011. Nos indicadores Ambientais constatou-se significativo crescimento em investimentos ambientais de 47% de 2009 para 2011, demonstrando uma preocupação por parte da prefeitura municipal de Curitiba com meio ambiente. Na análise dos indicadores do Corpo Funcional ficou constatado que o percentual de chefias ocupadas por mulheres nos anos de 2009 a 2011 não chegou a 1% e o percentual de chefias ocupadas por negros no mesmo período chegou a 1%.
