Abstract

This article presents the elements inherent in organizational discourse related to social-environmental strategies, looking at the identification of organizations that are proactive in their practices, as the approach of Rohrich and Cunha on a taxonomy for the analysis of environmental management. A proactive behavior will depend on acceptance of endogenous elements participants when faced with environmental projects. In this context, the research methodology was qualitative and descriptive, with the theoretical approach of social and environmental themes and documentary research for subsequent content analysis. In sequence, research has been done in tobacco production cycle, in order to collect information on the impacts on organizational interactions when explain such practices in their daily actions, with the use of techniques to collect and analyze data in an business institution responsible for the manufacture of tobacco and classified as proactive. Through the analysis of content, evidences about some unexplained objectives by the organizations were searched, as well as inadequate classifications outlined in the research proposal. The results were the identification of characteristics that are consistent with the distinctive ways in the organizational actions that have environmental projects and the impacted proactive choice in their organizational strategies.
