The influence of quality programs in organizational culture of business service of São Paulo (Brazil)

Abstract

This research aims to identify evidence of change in organizational culture arising from the implementation of quality programs. To design a survey was conducted theoretical literature on quality programs, the reality of business services and organizational culture. We performed a field survey in 37 enterprises providing services in São Paulo, through semi-structured questionnaire and the findings were analyzed using the SPSS system (Statistical Package for Social Science), and the significance measure by chi-square. For analyzing the data can reveal that changes, aiming at continuous improvement, demonstrate the development of a new organizational culture, which is now shaped depending on the alignment of performance goals to set goals to everyone in the organization, taking care to define the profile of new employees and integrate them into the new environment, and to maintain the continuous improvement of employees in order to focus the attention from the requirements of quality standards required by the competitive market, it is essential to improve the communication of new policies the company, educating everyone involved about the importance of more careful and consistent stance facing the biggest concern with the standards and sustainable results.
