Assessment process for internal communication in a state college of Toledo (Brazil, state of Parana) - period 2008 to 2009

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to verify the internal communication process at Jardim Porto Alegre School (Toledo city, state of Parana, Brazil). With this diagnosis process, it was still looked to present a contribution for the studies in the area of management and for the business consultancy area. This study makes possible the creation of an instrument of evaluation to the internal communication that turned in the adhesion of the School in implementing the suggested proposals. It makes the investigator to develop a second evaluation, now of the results of the proposed actions. After the direct observation and analyses of a quiz applied to 45 employees of the school, it was possible to detect the main problems in the process of internal communication and to suggest improvements that were paying attention to the requisites of the management of communication. Then, the proposal of improvement was considered as a complement to the inquiry, contributing so that the enterprise realized the real contribution of this tool. Next, from the implementation of the proposed actions, it was possible to identify and to use better some tools at school, which resulted in the integration of employees and in the efficiency and efficacy of communication process as demonstrated the second evaluation applied with a new questionnaire, three months after the introduction of the changes.
