Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The work has to own until 4 authors, because more than that are not accepted by the periodical.
  • The files to submit must be in Microsoft Word®  format "DOC", in the 2003 version or previous (respecting the limit of 2MB - Megabytes).

  • The works authors identification must be removed from the article and the Word Properties of Microsoft Word® , in order to guarantee the Journal privacy criteria, in the case of submission for blind review by pairs, in accordance with the instructions available in Assegurando a Avaliação cega por pares (saving the blind review by pairs).
  • The text follows the standard, style and previous bibliographical requisites  described in Author Guidelines.
  • The work is in Portuguese, Spanish or English language as it was also revised.
  • The work in Portuguese or Spanish language has to own also title in English as well as an Abstract. In the case of an English language research it has to own a title and an abstract in Portuguese language.
  • The Resumo (Portuguese)   or Resumen (Spanish) and or Abstract (English) with writing and style are in accordance with NBR 6028/2003 of ABNT and does not exceed the limit of 250 words recommended. There are a minimum of 3(three) words   and a maximum of 5 (five) words of Palavras chave , (Palabras clave) as well as Key words . Obs: the Abstract and Key words stay  in the first pages, apart from of the rest of article in the following page.
  • The body of the text is written in one of the following languages (Portuguese, or Spanish, or English) typed in Times New Roman font, size 12, formatted to A4 size, (210 x 297mm), simple space, and configuration of the page 3cm on the top of the page and left side, 2 cm on the bottom and right sides, paragraph backspace 1,25 cm.
  • In the tables and graphics, the borderlines should stay limited to a maximum of 17 cm of space considering letters font in 10 size. It needs to numbered  (Arabic numbers) in accordance with the order they appear in the text. It needs to be imported from Microsoft Excel® to Word®.

    Important: All the illustrations have to be in mentioned format , in the body of the text and apart in an a file of complementary extension “DOC” (next, see the verification item about images, photos, and illustrations.)

  • The citations follow the NBR rule 10520/2002 from ABNT.
  • The foot and explanative notes are not acceptable and in this way the text are not contained on it. 
  • The References follow the rule NBR (6023/2002 from ABNT, which demonstrates how they should be listed the references (bibliographic, electronically and periodic).
  • The original text  (except the Title, Abstract, Palavras chave, Palabras clave, Key words) does not exceed the limit of 15 pages.
  • The numbering of pages start from the introduction.
  • The images, photos and illustrations, when necessary, should be sending in files with “doc” extension complementary. It will be accept images in corel-draw in JPEG format (extension JPEG) and with 300  dpi resolution. It should contain source and data; in the case it is not from public domain, it will be necessary an authorization from the owners of author rights to reproduce the illustrations. Obs. Do not take into consideration this information when there are no images photos or illustrations. 

Author Guidelines

In order to submit articles, it will be accepted scientific studies in Portuguese, Spanish or English languages, in the format of article or essay. It could be original and not published, thus it should not be in review process in other periodicals at the same time. On the contrary, it should be commented in “Author comments/ Editor comments”.

It is admitted that the article has already been discussed in scientific events (seminaries, congresses, etc), but the author(s) should highlight this fact in the submission act. In the case of a simultaneous submission identified publication the article will be not considered.

It will be accepted articles in DOC format (Microsoft word), in the 2003 version or previous which does not contain notes, tags, or explicit or hidden identification   in the electronic file which revels the authorship.

The studies (articles or essays) submitted  must observe the rules following them  strictly in accordance with the Capital Científico Journal – Electronic (RCCe) as well as with the Brazilian Association of Technical Rules (ABNT).

Articles

Receipt of original articles (unpublished) in Portuguese, English or Spanish, from scientific research.

It is admitted that the article has already been discussed in scientific events (seminaries, congresses etc), but the author(s) should highlight this fact in the submission act. In the case of a simultaneous submission identified publication the article will be not considered.

Relato Técnico

Recebimento de Relatos Técnicos originais, oriundos de resoluções de problemas nas empresas, com cunho científico.

Admite-se que o Relato Técnico já fora discutido em eventos científicos (seminários, congressos, etc.), e não publicado em periódico, mas o(s) autor(es) deve(m) destacar esse fato no ato de submissão.

No caso de uma submissão simultânea em periódico que for identificado o Relato Técnico será cancelado e arquivado.

Essays

Receipt of original essays (unpublished) in Portuguese, English or Spanish, from scientific research.

It is admitted that the manuscript has already been discussed in scientific events (seminaries, congresses etc), but the author(s) should highlight this fact in the submission act. In the case of a simultaneous submission identified publication the article will be not considered.
