Localização de imagens em um sistema de espelhos angulares por meio de álgebra matricial

Neste trabalho, as posições angulares das imagens de um objeto puntiforme em um sistema de espelhos angulares são obtidas por meio de operações sucessivas geradas por matrizes de rotação, de reflexão e produtos entre essas matrizes. O método de solução permite uma maior familiaridade dos estudantes com a álgebra matricial, a qual nem sempre é ensinada aos estudantes no estágio inicial dos cursos de graduação, época em que estudam óptica geométrica, assim como possibilita a solução completa do problema, obtenção do número de imagens e a posição angular das mesmas.
