Modelagem de equações estruturais aplicada no estudo de causalidade entre maturidade e processos organizacionais

Abstract

Este trabalho faz um estudo das relações entre variáveis associadas à maturidade organizacional e níveis de efetividade de processos empresariais, buscando quantificar quão bem construtos relativos a tais processos predizem o fator latente maturidade. Dessa forma é possível identificar quais das variáveis não observáveis pertencentes ao construto tomado como causa (processos), possui maior influência sobre os efeitos presumidos (maturidade). Os métodos utilizados para determinar esta relação foram a análise fatorial exploratória e a modelagem de equações estruturais. Os dados utilizados neste trabalho consistem de uma planilha com 299 observações por 42 variáveis. Por meio dos resultados obtidos, verificou-se que todos os processos considerados são bons preditores quando avaliados em relações individuais e diretas, sendo o processo desenvolvimento de visão e estratégia o mais significante, seguido do processo gerência do atendimento ao consumidor.
