Science fiction in physics teaching: improvement of science education and History of Science via informal strategies of teaching

O presente trabalho descreve uma proposta alternativa para o ensino de F´ısica e daHist´oria da Ciˆencia usando filmes de fic¸c˜ao cient´ıfica. Esta proposta foi desenvolvida para
o Ensino M´edio, universit´ario e para cursos de atualiza¸c˜ao de professores-em-servi¸co. Um
v´ıdeofilme (de 15 minutos de dura¸c˜ao) foi produzido no sistema NTSC com trechos de v´arios
filmes cl´assicos de filmes de fic¸c˜ao cient´ıfica. Os “fenˆomenos f´ısicos” apresentados nesses
filmes se constituem em uma forma poderosa para se explorar as id´eias do senso comum
de estudantes e professores sobre conte´udos e temas espec´ıficos e, tamb´em, para explorar o
desenvolvimento de quadros conceituais na Hist´oria da Ciˆencia.
