Contribuição potencial de cargas poluentes na bacia do Rio das Pedras, no município de Guarapuava - PR

O rio das Pedras ´e o manancial de abastecimento de ´agua para a popula¸c˜ao deGuarapuava-PR. A atividade agropecu´aria e industrial, tˆem interferido na qualidade da ´agua
de capta¸c˜ao. A fim de avaliar as influˆencias dessas atividades sobre a qualidade da ´agua,
foram estimadas as cargas potenciais de DBO, N, P e coliformes fecais. Essas cargas foram
avaliadas em fun¸c˜ao do n´umero de habitantes e diferentes rebanhos da bacia. Os resultados
mostram que os valores de carga potencial de DBO, N, P e coliformes fecais s˜ao de 6,1 mg/l,
2,23 mg/, 0,56 mg/l e 12272 NMP/100ml, respectivamente. Entretanto, estes valores s˜ao
maiores que aqueles obtidos mediante a an´alise laboratorial da ´agua coletada em campo.
